UCC Archives and the United Church of Canada are committed to the health and safety of our visitors and staff.? Due to the quickly changing situation with COVID-19, we are closing the Archives to the public effective March 16th until further notice.? Archives staff will try to continue to serve the public remotely by responding to requests by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (416-231-7680 x 1101); however, archivists will not have access to the physical records during this time. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these uncertain times.

The United Church of Canada Archives, Toronto, includes the General Council Archives and the Regional Council Archives serving
Canadian Shield Regional Council, Antler River Watershed Regional Council, Western Ontario Waterways Regional Council, Horseshoe Falls Regional Council, Shining Waters Regional Council, East Central Ontario Regional Council and parts of Eastern Ontario Outaousis. The Archives holds the records in a variety of formats of the General Council Office and those of the Regions, Communities of Faith, former Conferences and presbyteries of the Central Ontario region.
The Archives also holds a small library collection of monographs, serials, pamphlets, vertical files and directories of ministers. These materials may be viewed in our reading room at 40 Oak Street in Regent Park, Toronto.
The new United Church of Canada structure came into effect January 1, 2019. As the structure is implemented there may be changes to where records will reside. Please check the website for updates or contact us with any questions.
